Gallery of Issues

In January 2020, Women’s March Chicago kicked off a year-long opportunity for thousands of marchers to learn, activate, and mobilize across their neighborhoods and communities around the issues that matter to them.

WMC’s January Anniversary March highlighted five key issues that affect us all: the Census 2020; climate justice; gun violence prevention; women's health rights and access; and voting. As marchers moved block by block through the route, they learned about these key issues and ways they can effect change. Our outstanding partner organizations and marchers engaged in lively exchanges during the high-energy March.

WMC recognizes that there are scores of critical issues that we must address to create stronger and more equitable communities across our city, state, and nation. Therefore, we curated the resource list below. The list features organizations that specialize in these five issues and many others. Marchers can explore these groups and discover ways to continue to #MakeItCount throughout 2020!

WMC will add issues and organizations to the resource list throughout 2020. If you would would like to receive issue-related text updates, text MARCH to 91999. If your group would like to be considered for inclusion on the resource list, please contact us at outreach@womensmarchchicago.org.
